Love was not the only one biting at last week’s Campus Farmers’ Market Apple Day event. At the market table on the brickyard, NC State students sampled among five different apple varieties grown in North Carolina. Varying in appearance, texture and taste, each offered a somewhat different personality that colored taste buds on the sunny October day.
The event was the first of several interactive educational demos which will take place 10am-3pm each Wednesday.
